Pinball

So I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to have to play this in black and white. I tried composite, I've tried an S-Cable, but all it does is display stuff in black and white. And I've given up hope on ever joining that CD-i forum since it appears to be dead. So anyway, the first game in what I hope to be a lot of CD-i reviews is Pinball. This game has four, count 'em. Cyber, Dog Fight (which plays classical music when you have it selected on the menu.), Spring Break, and Meltdown. Meltdown is the most basic table of them all. It's what you think of when you think video game pinball. A computer-themed one. Spring Break has to be the funniest pinball table I have ever seen. It takes place on the beach, and the guy lifting weights grunts if you hit him with the ball. Dog Fight is a war fighting themed one, something that Snoopy would like. And Cyber is a robot theme, a lot like Meltdown, only there's a giant stationary robot in the middle of the table and his joints are bumpers. So, how are the physics? Not bad considering this is a CD-i game. The table design leaves a bit to be desired, though. It is, funny, however, to hear classical music in a video game pinball game.

Final Score: B
