My Ten-Lines contest entry.
It's nothing really spectacular, so I'm guessing it will finish in last place, but I did it anyway just to see if I could. And I also entered it. I don't know why, just because to show my support for stuff like this. I also want a tape of the entries if there is going to be one. I don't know how much memory a tape holds, but with 21 entries and counting, I'm sure it will use up a lot of room. My game is called Catch, and it's a game where you catch falling balls from the sky. It's like the old Odyssey2 games where you only get one life. It plays easy on an emulator, but I'm not sure how hard it would be on real hardware. I also don't know why I want a tape of the contest if I don't have an 800XL tape player. I guess I hope to get one some day and, again, to support this kind of thing. You can download my game. I also made an explanation of the code in case you wonder how it all works. I got my Atari 800XL out of the pantry, but it was missing its power cord. I searched everywhere for it and eventually found it. It still works like a charm. I played Pac-Man and got 35,000 points because I started on the Atari-logo-fruit level. I got up to a key. I thought it was a Mario head at first, but closer inspection it was a key. Is there anything after the key? I thought the green Fuji was last, but it wasn't. I don't know, I'm having some eye trouble. My eyelids hurt when I rub them a certain way. So if anyone has a 800XL tape player (one that doesn't need an extra cord thingy), or just some more common 800XL-compatible games, please PM me.
