So Tarzilla made this really great opening screen for GoSub. He said I could use it if I added music and put some words back on the title screen. I fulfilled the request and did what he said. So now I have a tiny test ditty playing on repeat and the words "PRESS FIRE TO START." at the bottom. It took hours and hours, mainly due to the fact of the octopus animation tiles being all mixed up. But I fixed it. And now everything should be OK, provided I don't run into any more problems! I would like to use the logo on the title screen on the end label. But perhaps I'm getting a little ahead of myself again. I have to finish the game first! 14 levels are there, but you can only play the 14th one at the moment. Don't worry, the other levels are still in the code, but only accessible if you have the basic file (or know INTV programming/game hacking!) So anyway, I finally did it. It's about time. I fought with this stupid thing before bed, only to stay up until 5am, working all night to no avail. I started again an hour or so ago and finished just now. But even still, I still have no idea what I'm doing. It took me a couple tries before I could get a background color for the text worked out since there were no samples of it in the manual. Some day, maybe RT will tackle the task of making an INTYBasic page like did with the bB page that helped me out when I was just starting.
