This marked the third power outage in the last 16 hours. This morning, I just woke up and the power went out. For over an hour. Last night, the power was out for 45 minutes, and then again a few hours later for an hour. It had been close to freezing and raining, so I'm guessing tree limbs falling on power lines, but three of them so close together? I woke up and turned on the gas fireplace and tried to go back to sleep on the couch. I couldn't. The last power outage I played some Virtual Boy, as per tradition. I played V-Tetris, I played Nester's Funky Bowling, and I was getting my butt handed to me by the first boss of Wario Land when the power came back on. I was having a hard time trying to figure out what to play. I explained to Mom that they didn't make very many Virtual Boy games. And that there's a light inside of it so I don't need a lantern to play it. Which makes it a good thing to play in almost total darkness. It was about 6pm or so. I am so sick of this. Maybe the temperatures will stay above freezing now?
