Bubba Returns

Well, I finally did it. It took an hour and a half of me being very sleepy and fighting with my video editing software, but I finished the shooting part of Bubba's Buck Blastin'. For newcomers to my blog, it's my ActionMax homebrew game I've been working on. The shooting part is about 12 minutes long. That makes five minutes' worth of non-shooting parts to just about equal the shortest ActionMax games. I stayed up a few hours past my bedtime anyway. It's about 1am here. I guess it's good to stay up past my bedtime because I usually get 12-13 hours' worth of sleep, and that's too much. Anyway, back to the ActionMax homebrew. I figured I should finally work on this again to get the thing done and released. So the hard part is done. Now I need to work on the script for the non-shooting parts, i.e. what I say to the player, in my best yokely voice. I've been having the footage sit on the computer not being used for far too long. It has been over a year since I filmed the forest part. So I need to find out if they make 30 minute long VHS tapes. If not, I guess I'll have to use the standard ones. I should stock up on them in case they quit selling them at the store. If they do, I'll just release it on DVD. Although that's a last resort. But I'd have to make a master copy on at least one DVD in order to put it on a VHS tape. And yes, there will be a hidden Easter egg.
