TV Guide crosswords

I have a few issues of TV Guide from the early '80s. It always amazed me that they had two letter words in the grid. It's taboo most of the time, but you can get some really weird looking grids if you allow them. I don't know why I enjoy looking at weird crossword grids. I don't even know how to define to you a weird crossword grid. Well, anyway, there were two magazines that had TV-related crosswords: TV Guide Crosswords and TV Crosswords. TV Guide Crosswords reprinted classic crosswords from the '60s-'90s. It was fun to see how weird those crosswords can get. So my yearning for more led to this new weekly thing where I will make a TV-related crossword puzzle that allows 2 letter words. I'll see what I can come up with every Thursday. I put this week's puzzle up. I already made next week's, so check back every Thursday for a new one. I use Across Lite to make the grid and clues. I make the grid myself and then enter the grid and clues and it automatically numbers them. What's more, using CutePDF, I can save the document as a PDF if I select to print it. Yes, I know, I am weird. I buy books of crossword puzzles and end up doing half of them. Most of the time I do the ones in the paper. I almost finished the syndicated NY Times one today. But it is so much easier to do a 13x13 grid than a 15x15 grid. Also, oddly, the 13x13 grids lends itself to weirder grids than the 15x15 ones. And yes, I know I did two blog entries in the span of 6 or so hours, but I just thought I'd let you know even though nobody will probably do them. http://www.atari2600land.com/crosswords/tv/
