Jaguar is expensive as Hell.
It's getting to the point where you have to be a millionaire to acquire a complete Jaguar collection. I was going to buy a soccer game for $23. Someone else got it. Why would you pay $23 for a SOCCER game for the Atari Jaguar? eBay sucks. Either that or we've got a bunch of collectors who are hoarding Jaguar games. I had to pay $32 for Wolfenstein 3D. And that was one of the cheaper titles on eBay. I am so glad I got most of the titles before the Jaguar inflation began. Do a search for Atari Jaguar game on eBay and you'll see what I mean. The sad part is if I started a thread in the wanted section of AtariAge forums asking for Wolfenstein 3D, I would get no replies. I wouldn't be surprised if Checkered Flag will one day in a few years reach $100 on eBay. It's getting to be one of the prerequisite for a Jaguar collector is to have thousands of dollars stashed away. I'm going to sell some Dreamcast titles I never play. It's a round, I feel like collecting for a system and then not care about it. But the Jaguar seems to be constant. And boy am I glad I spent about $40 or $50 for the unit. You never see them anywhere ever. And one on eBay is, well, you'd have to be an insane millionaire to get one. Are they really that rare?
