Work is progressing on the secret government waffle project. It's now at 6k. I plan to make it a 16k game, so I have 9.5k left to put in various things, one of which will be a powerup. There will be various kinds:

STOP SIGN - This red octagon will stop the waffles from flying at you for 10 seconds.

BABY - If you get the baby powerup, the waffles will slow down for 10 seconds.

TEN - If you get the number ten, it will add 10 points to your score magically.

A nice round number computer-wise would be 4. So I would like to have one more powerup idea. The powerups will appear in random y locations and fly across the screen like the waffles, so if you miss one, you're SOL until the next one comes, which will also be decided by a random time. I added a little in-game tune. I tried to make it long and not monotonous. It lasts for 38 seconds and loops over until you die. I also made the waffles fly across the screen faster after about a minute. It took a little bit of work to make it so a waffle doesn't speed up unexpectedly, so the transition is smooth. Hopefully I'll have enough room to work in these ideas! And I also ordered my second Interphase game, Blockade Runner (I have Sewer Sam) off eBay. And I got NFL Football at the store, which I thought I had already, but no. I bet the same guy who stole my He-Man cart also took the Football one, too. I'm tired of working on the waffle project for today, so I will quit unless someone spots a bug or something.
