So I got my package today. What was inside? A boxed copy of Horse Racing for intellivision. It looked crappy since it was mailed in Bubbleope and was mailed all the way from Pennsylvania to Oregon. But I don't really care about keeping boxes, I just wanted the game. And I popped it in. It works and played a little tune for me. I pressed 5. Up came a screen about horse racing betting. I thought this was what it was about, but since I wasn't sure, I thought it might be controlling a horse in a race. In the box was the instructions, the overlays I never use, and a surprise: An Intellivision catalog. I didn't have this one. It was the blue background cover version and the weird cursive letters edition. I guess I could have looked it up in the other catalog I have about the INTV, but I don't know where it is. I also got in the same package my very own copy of Kool-Aid Man for Intellivision. So I began to put them in the bin I have that's full of INTV games when I noticed a bunch of hair in it. So I cleaned out the edges of the box. It was filthy dirty and had a whole bunch of cat hair in it. I wasn't surprised since the cat likes to be in here during the day. I got over my Christmas mood, and now I'm in a Halloween one, which is more appropriate. So I figure the Halloween stuff will be in stores this weekend since school supply buying time is over and the kids are back in school. So now I have 73 Intellivision games, two more and it'll be 75. I have 52 more to get to the magic 125. I doubt I ever will though given the prices of a few games, but it will be fun trying to see how close I can get.
