So I've given up GoSub. I want to try something daring and involving random numbers. Thus starts Bananas Are Good for the Game Gear. I'm keeping it simple, making it 32k. I had trouble with the title screen. Initially I had a picture of a banana and under it the words "bananas are good." But the words didn't show, just most of the banana. So I omitted the words and just made my banana picture smaller. It fit. Next came the score. It didn't want to display either, but with enough coaxing, I made it. After an hours' worth of coding, this is what I have so far, just this static screen.

The four 0s on the left will be the score. And once I understand how that works, I'll probably put a timer in. But before all that, I have to Game Gear-ify the title screen song. But I've had enough for today. Time for a coding rest.
