I figured I might as well try to get the fly in today since I thought it would be easy. And it did turn out that way, although I did have to alter the fly sprite a little to get to display the correct colors. And not only that, it also happened to be the correct layer (the fly goes behind the swatter.) That turned out as luck for me. I went to sleep at about 12am since my eye was hurting. I woke up at 6 am. Whenever my eye hurts, I find that sleep cures it. I don't know how, but it did this time as well. Now that I have the fly in, I think I can take a break from this for a few days. Sometimes vomiting cures my eyeache, I vomited, but it still hurt. So I went to sleep. And getting the fly in the game took only about 15-30 minutes, as opposed to 3 hours or so. The fly can't move, though. I want the fly to fly in different random directions, but I can't do that yet. I am hoping that a random number generator code I have can be simplified to just get a number between 1-4 (N, S, E and W.) So anyway, the fruit fly in the Game Gear version is better than the INTV version. So is the swatter, since I added a hand to it. So this is what it looks like now:
