Game.com music
So I decided to start playing the ol' game.com again. I chose out of my complete collection Tiger Casino. I played some video poker. It was then I had an idea: game.com MIDIs. For the, um, "music". So here's my first one: It's the theme from Video Poker. I looked at vgmusic.com but it hasn't been updated since 2014, but that hasn't stopped people from uploading MIDIs. They don't have a game.com section, so phooey on them. So I posted it to my website. If you have any game.com MIDIs you'd like to share, please PM me. I myself will make more of them if people care. The theme to Video Poker was real easy to do. Except choose the instrument. I settled on a recorder. Probably not the one it sounds like, though. I did notice something about the game.com: it has an auto turn off feature. If it doesn't get input in a certain amount of time, it shuts off. This proves fairly frustrating if you want to recheck your music. I guess I'll have to start recording the music and play it back that way. It also proves real frustrating if you're trying to think about your next move in Scrabble. I've had that happen a few times and thought the game.com quit working. No. It's just the auto-off feature. I thought the game.com quit working today, too. But I pressed the reset button with a pencil and it came up again. I wonder what the data is when it says "DATA FOUND." Why does it come up every time I plug the game.com in? http://www.atari2600land.com/gamecom/tigercasinopoker.mid
