Hard bacon.
So I worked on the game I was making from 5 o'clock in the evening or so. I didn't stop until 2 a.m. That's when I gave up, ate some food, and went to sleep at 3 a.m. I woke up at 1 p.m. or so and started work anew on the game. After a few hours, I FINALLY got what I wanted to do. It's not perfect, but it meets my goal of what I wanted to have happen in the game. In case you don't read the Odyssey 2 stuff, I'm working on a new game called "I Like Bacon." Bacon will randomly pop up on a Donkey Kong like screen and your job is to collect it. It's like Ants, but only it's in 2D and involves platforms. But my main problem was with the elevators. I tried tons of stuff and never did get it working right. So I'll have to settle for what I have now, which if you try to fall down a hole while the elevator is moving, it will bump you back. This is because I didn't want the guy getting stuck half on the elevator with his legs dangling below. So if you want to fall down, make sure the elevator is below you because you can't move left or right while falling (intentional), and if you fall down the bottom hole, the game will end. But I'm not even at the point where bacon pops up randomly yet because I spent all last night trying to figure out the elevator.
