So at about noon yesterday, I began work on the idea I had in mind for the Lowercase I game. I went to bed at 4pm with a broken version. I got up at midnight. I looked through the code. I tried things. It kept being weird on me. Weird stuff happened if I put a single line of code here or there in the wrong place. Finally, at 4am, I had done it: after 8 hours of pain and programming, I have a working (for now) screen 10. I say for now because I have to put in a few more lines of code to jump to the third bank. Something like "if screennumber=11 then goto the third bank." But since this isn't BASIC, it takes up I estimate 6 lines of code. I said I wasn't going to work on it yesterday and I did, but I truly doubt that I can work on it today since I have no ideas for new screens. So unless I get an idea, I won't be working on this (or unless someone finds a bug.) Mom left at about noon, so the dog was in the living room and I was in my room typing away. I took the dog out at about 2:10pm and then went back to work. I hope to spend the day with the dog again, as Mom is going to be gone all day. She and my sister and niece and nephew are going to some fest called World Beat and then they're going to the Tour of Homes to look at all the pretty houses. So I get to spend all day with the dog and take her outside a few times. And then tomorrow is my doctor appointment. My cholesterol has been high, and yet I'm fine, so why should I have to lower it if I've been fine this past year? Health sucks.
