2k games

I want to brand my games "2k Games," since that's most of what I'll be making, but there's already some stupid company that took that name. Producer of much shovelware and kiddie games for the 3DS. Idiots probably chose that name since we're living in the 2000s, which is dumb. Mostly because I want that name. So I guess I'll have to think of another one. Perhaps I'll name it Channel 2,048. I want to get a cartridge burner and make the games I make myself so I don't have to beg other people to do it. Shells would probably be the cheapest thing to get since there's a few game trading stores that have 2600 games. There's one that's selling a system and right beside it must be at least 50 dirt common games. I'm in the middle of making an instruction booklet for Cellar Celery. I just need to do the covers and then I'll be done with it. Oh, and I started a new newsletter about the 2600 called Atari Stuff. Unlike my periodical periodical Nintendo Stuff, I'll be making Atari Stuff monthly. In fact, I've already begun work on the second issue. You can get the latest issue of Atari Stuff at the website: http://www.atari2600land.com/ataristuff/
So anyway, I have an idea for Channel 2,048 covers. When I'm finished with the manual, I'll let you look at it.

2k games are great because you don't have to spend any time trying to create Activision/Imagic quality graphics or complicated sound effects. Just add an unanimated stick figure and a couple of beeps and boops and you're done!

Even if you get an EPROM programmer, you would need suitable cartridge boards. Are you going to make those yourself? I'm unsure how many of the older games have boards that can be altered to take an EPROM. I understand that Albert has a service here at AA for one-offs, but you wrote that you don't want to depend on other people.
