Crunchy oranges.
I've been busy all day working on my Game Gear game about oranges. I spent most of yesterday and all of today trying to get two different noises to play in the noise channel. It kept wanting to play only one of the sounds I wanted instead of both of them. I kept going and going and just solved the stupid problem. I don't know how, either. It basically was the same thing I've been trying only a little different. I don't see how a different change can alter a game so much. Oh well. At least it has 2 sounds now, three if you count the sound effect that plays on channel 0.
I'm wondering if anyone would like to buy this game when I'm done with it; I worked really hard on it, so I would like at least one copy at least for myself to remind myself that if I keep trying something, it will eventually happen, unless it's something I will never do, like, say, scale Mt. Everest. I can't even get out of the country without a passport I don't have. And apparently, you need one even if you're a US citizen going to Hawaii. Who knew, huh?
So anyway, now that that's done, I need to take a few days' break from programming all together. I get on one of these rolls where I don't eat all day and just program and get angry when I have to stop what I'm doing to use the bathroom. I want a YouTube video about this game, but I need a screen video capturing program. Too bad Sega didn't release a Super Game Boy-type thing for the Genesis. It would come in handy right now.
