No instant death

One of the things that kept bothering me about my Hamburgers game was the fact that sometimes you died for no apparent reason. So I wrote a little bit of code to try to stop that from happening that essentially says to only look for collisions if an item is shown on screen. The fact that I'm making a Game Gear game and not a Master System one is the fact that you can hide stuff off screen in a Game Gear game, but it would still be showing up on a TV screen.

This seems to have worked for now. I played the game for 20 minutes last night, 10 on an emulator and another 10 on a Game Gear, and the issue seems to have went away. So I'll be really angry if it shows up again from here on out during testing. Yes, I said I wouldn't work on it last night, but this issue really bothered me and I wanted it gone.

So now that it's June, I changed my 2018 Super Mario Bros. calendar. There is a scene from world 4-2. The fact that I know what level it is when it doesn't say is a bit disturbing.
