I was looking through my website's files. It was very useful, as I had put a 15-page novel that didn't use the letter E on it. It would have been lost forever since my computer died and went to the great electronic garbage dump. So I put it on my new computer and continued work on it. I've been trying to make an actual story with a plot, but it's hard because A: The first novel I wrote was really zany, B: I want a story that's zany, and C: I can't use the letter E.

This means I can't use the word 'the.' I have one lipogram novel, and the notes he wrote on it was that the toughest part of writing it was that he couldn't use the "-ed" suffix. This is hard as well, so I have to use "did watch" instead of "watched". So now I'm half way through the story. I've got 10,000 words. I'm aiming for 20,000.

The story idea I have is a rough one involving aliens from the planet Uranus invading Earth and colonizing it. I chose Uranus because it didn't have a letter E. And since it doesn't have an E, I couldn't use the word "alien." Instead I call them "Uranians." It takes about an hour to write each page. So I spent about 15 hours on it total. Well, last night I wrote another page. So now it's 16 pages.

And the temperatures are going to rise to above 90 all next week, so this means waiting to take my walk until later. I don't even know why I'm doing it, it doesn't seem to help with my weight. In fact, I'm getting fatter for no apparent reason and I've been eating the same stuff all this time. I don't care.
