2 years.
That's how long it took me to write my second novel. Granted, I wasn't working on it all the time and only did it in spurts of inspiration. But last night I woke up at about midnight after only four hours of being asleep. I went to sleep at 8pm last night. I got to thinking about it for some unknown reason and said to myself, "I'm going to finish this."
I had about 23 pages left before I could call it finished. But I got to 112 pages, my desired length, only about 300 words short of 20,000.19,773 words and almost 2 years later, I did it. Yes, I wrote 23 pages in about 3 hours. You know those old Goosebumps paperback books? It's about that size. Only they're gross. I was inspired by my old books I had when I was a kid that I still have of a series of gross stories.
This second novel is called "15 Shades of Yellow." I know, about a few years too late from "50 Shades of Grey," but at least I got it done. Unless '50 Shades of Grey' is about a 12-year-old kid with a weird medical condition, the two books are completely different from each other.
I doubt any of you would want to read it, I just do things like this for my own amusement. I'll share the link if anyone asks for it though. Can pdf files be viewable on a eBook reader device thingy? Because I put it in .pdf form.
