Goings on for August 7, 2019
At about midnight, I gave up trying to go to sleep and began wanting to work on a MIDI of a long song. But the one I wanted to work on, I couldn't find the CD it was on, but it was okay because a search on Google revealed someone already did it. I also found lots of Dream Theater MIDIs someone made, making mine I did a few years ago unnecessary. I found "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence," but it was broken up into 8 parts. So I wanted to "glue" them together. After downloading and trying to use a MIDI making program, I tried using Audacity.
I think it's my goto program now for MIDI merging. It works great. The complete song is 47 minutes long (compared to its actual length of 42 minutes) and 443KB, making it my second-longest MIDI in the long MIDI collection (of the ones I have, only Thick As a Brick is larger.) I also found Dream Theater songs "A Nightmare To Remember" and "In the Presence of Enemies Part 2." So I added all these to my long MIDI website.
So now I have even more of them. And some searching to do. Both in the new MIDI department and the choosing of a MIDI to make of a song that nobody has done before. I went to bed at 3am. I woke up a few hours ago and shaved some bytes off of MidSpace. I don't know what else I can do with that game. But if I decide to add something, I have about 250 bytes left.
