Goshzilla with 2 L's

Worked on this a little more today. I had to attempt a lot to try it on real hardware because it wasn't working right a lot. But I finally got it to. The problem was I added a sound effect for the fire and it wasn't playing on the title screen. What fixed it was I added a command to play a noise, a keyclick, before setting up stuff. While the result works, you can hear a slight buzz noise for like a few hundredths of a second. Which, while it doesn't seem like you wouldn't be able to notice it, you do. Or I do.

 

I also added a sound effect for each point you get. This is what was bothering me the most and why I kept having problems. I had to put some noise control code, and while the code was small, I had to keep trying various places to put it in. I gave up with the music. I tried making something with the soundedit program, but it just sounded like different pitched buzzes instead of actual music. So I scrapped it.

 

I also added a second L to Goshzilla's name. As it turns out, this is better because I needed the second duo of quad characters for the high score. And it wasn't clearing at the start of the game because apparently the clearchar command does not clear quads. There's still no way to die in the game, though.
