Hamburger work.
I must have spent at least a couple of hours working on Hamburgers En Route To Switzerland today trying to not make there be garbled stuff showing up for a split second between the level and a new game over screen I put in the game. But at last I think I finally did it.
A couple of hours ago, while I was working on this same thing, the power went out for like a nanosecond. Not enough time to make my computer go off, or the microwave clock need to be reset, but enough to notice it. I heard a "zzzt" sound and the lights flickered. Am sure glad the power is still on now. I would have been real angry had it shut down my computer. And every time the power goes out (for more than a nanosecond), I need to mess with the VCR/DVD player in my room to make it still record stuff. I had to move it in there since the cable box in the living room made it have a copyright message in case I tried to record something.
Anyway, that's the game over screen. The "game over" is set back further and the cemetery plot is in front. I have yet to test a current build on a real Virtual Boy. I am right now listening to a MIDI file of Mike Oldfield's "Tubular Bells." Saying that sounds odd, I know. Need to get the phone charger cord and test the current build.
