A Sad Day In Salem History Today
We used to have this unusual weather-related record. Every year since the National Weather Service started keeping records in 1892, it has never rained more than a trace amount on July 12th. That 113-year-old tradition was broken when 0.06 inches of rain fell earlier today. If it had just waited one more day, we could still have our record, but no. I guess records were meant to be broken. It was fun while it lasted. I'm going to Game Crazy Friday evening and there had better be some Atari 2600 games I don't have. In fact, I'm so desperate, I'll buy ones I do have, as long as they're not too expensive. Or maybe, I'll just get some Game Boy games instead. Or I could add some more NES games to my 69-game NES collection. Or I could just go out and play in the rain...
