Game Boy work.

So after about 3 weeks, I went back and worked on Save the Puppies. Today's task was to attempt to make a game over screen with a little tune. Here is the end result:

I still have lots of room left to still keep it at 32k. Since everything else is completed, I can use the extra room to store level designs, as well as extra tarantula behavior.

I also made it so that if you press Start at the game over screen, you'll go straight to a new game. I never did see my reasoning of going back to the title screen, so I don't program games that way now.

 

Why come back to work on this? I have been on a Game Boy kick lately. And I think my idea is good. Of course, I think a lot of my ideas aren't crap, but that doesn't stop them from not being published (Uncle Hairy's Nosehair, anyone?) now that I've been making games for about 15 years now. Klax on Game Boy is horrid. I can't tell the different designs apart. And I never did like Klax to begin with, it's really hard. I was looking through Game Genie codes and I found an infinite falls code that would really help.
