Building a better nose

Someone on Discord thought my nose looked like gallows. So I decided to see if I could make a better nose. I thought the C and J could be used as a basis for the nostril of the nose. I built a nose, but when I tried it on a real Odyssey 2, the top flashed a bunch. I decided to try to move it down a bit. I thought the problem was it was up too high. So I moved it down and lo and behold it was working good that time.

Unfortunately I don't think I can move the grid in front of the characters, so it will have to look this way. But the nose having a nostril looks better than no nostril, even if it is peanut shaped, like most nostrils aren't. Oh well.

My TV does not show the upper part of the screen as it looks like in this picture. My TV's picture begins at the top of the nose with nothing else above it. No idea who's at fault there. What's even more interesting is the fact that I set some variables at the same coordinates as some of the nose's characters values, and both the nose doesn't change and the game still works.

I like feedback. I also don't know if this game will get a release. I doubt it, as the guy who I collaborate with making Odyssey² games isn't too keen on this idea. But it still gives me something to do. If I wasn't programming this, I'd probably be eating potato chips and watching TV.
