Poet tree - "sandwich (part two)"
Here is the end of the poem.
"i'm so hungry i could eat a pig
and that's what i'll do
it don't matter my stomach's big
it'll get bigger when i'm through
i can't eat fruit like a grape or fig
won't eat veggies too
it's mostly 'junk' food that i dig
that's how my stomach grew
so to the kitchen my legs will tread
i'll open a new package of ham
place it between two slices of bread
a few pickles and some mayo i'll cram
into it, can't wait to be fed
and down my throat it i'll ram
i know i just got out of bed
but i need my sandwich mother ma'am.
i'd like a sandwich with ham in it
i can't wait for the moment wherein i bit
into a sandwich of ham oh what glee
so i think i'll stop singing
and a ham sandwich i'll be bringing
into my stomach as soon
as i end this song one day in june
i'll stop now and go fix me
a nice ham sandwich and watch tv
on a sunday night when nothing's on
and all my sanity is gone
i'll just watch static that's the plan
match my sandwich-making skills no one can
aw crap
i'm out of mayonnaise."
