Super Scope!
I am surprised by the amount of people who want to talk about the Super Scope: 0. The Super Scope had more games that used it than the NES Zapper. They should have made a Super Duck Hunt. Duck Hunt was the best game using a gun that was not an Action Max game. I guess they felt that shooting ducks with a bazooka-like object was too gory perhaps? I don't know. But with more games, there is more to talk about.
I got on eBay and added Lamborghini American Challenge and Revolution X, two of the final three games needed for my complete Super Scope collection. I also wonder why it needs a CRT TV since there's a Wii-sensor bar-type thing you put on top of your TV. I guess it's because the Super Scope still needs to read the colors on the TV you point and fire at to differentiate from a right or wrong shot? I don't know.
I also wonder if it's possible to make a game using the Super Scope. I can make a NES game, so I guess I should start research on how to make a game that uses the Zapper. So anyway, the final game I need now is Operation Thunderbolt. It costs more than the usual SNES game, but I can still afford one, just as long as it's around $70 or so. I want a loose copy. I wish I could make a SNES game, but it seems like it might be too complicated. Is there a C compiler for the SNES? I tried making a 2600 game that uses the 7800 light gun. I wonder how Sentinel worked. Perhaps one day I could make the SNES game Super Duck Hunt, something that's missing in the SNES library. But that might be too late because I doubt CRT TV's last forever.
