Give us this day, our daily GoSub maze.

I woke up in the middle of the night with a bad case of acid reflux. I tried sleeping with one pillow on top of another. That didn't work. Then I remembered something about dairy food helping. So I got up and had a midnight snack: some ice cream. It helped a little, but I was back to sleep anyway.

I woke up at about 4 hours later with an idea in my head: a racing game, similar to Motorodeo for the Atari 2600, but instead of monster trucks, it would have holiday characters and would be meant to be played right around Christmas. So, like characters like Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, an elf, a reindeer, a snowman, a polar bear were the characters I thought up off the top of my head. But then I got to thinking what console I could do this on. I eventually settled on the 7800. But I don't think I'll do it because it would be tough work for the obstacles AND make it fun at the same time. My last "racing" game turned out when you played it you got the same end time every time. So if you want to program this for any reason on any console, go ahead. And then I went back to sleep.

So I guess it's back to me thinking up GoSub mazes until I have 30 of them. But it's really hard thinking of maze shapes with such a limited screen size to work with. But if I, say, extended the vertical size by 16 pixels and put the levels & lives bar down at the bottom, it probaly wouldn't help very much. I hope I can think oup of 20 more interesting mazes.
