Sleep is good.

I like sleep. I don't enjoy laying in my bed trying to go to sleep, but once I am asleep, I can sleep for hours on end. I spent most of yesterday sleeping. I went to sleep at 8 a.m. and woke up at 10 p.m. While I was sleeping, a package came for me. When I woke up, I saw it on the kitchen counter. So I opened the package. Inside the package was a copy of Ballblazer for the Atari 7800. I think there is something wrong with my Atari 7800. Sometimes when I put in the Ballblazer cartridge and turn on the Atari 7800, I hear weird noises on the splash screen. But then when it's over, it usually goes back to playing its usual self. Now that I have a Ballblazer copy, I am wondering what a POKEY is and how to get it out of the Ballblazer cartridge without hurting it. All I know about it is that it allows up to four channels of sound instead of the usual 2 for a TIA.

I kept having weird dreams though, like one was me singing 15-minute versions of Christmas carols. I made up a weird Christmas song on the spot with rhyming lyrics that was about Canada. I don't know why I would do that since I'm not Canadian.

"aligned with evergreen trees is the lane

decorated with red and white like the flag or a candy cane"

I know, I'm weird.

But back to the Pokey. What is it? Is it a chip? Inside the Ballblazer cartridge? If I take it out of the Ballblazer cartridge will Ballblazer still play? I ask because I might get some Atari 7800 games from the AtariAge store that use it if I can figure it out. And I might try to compose a four channel song if I am able to use it.
