Level 3 fixed

So I didn't get to sleep until after 4 a.m. last "night." I laid in bed with my eye hurting at midnight. At 1 a.m. I was still awake, but my eye quit hurting so I went to work before going to bed. I woke up at about 4 p.m. and went back to work on level 3 of the celery game and I had an idea that may make the game look nicer. I put it in, tweaked code for a few hours and lo and behold, my idea worked!

I don't know what was causing the game to look crappy, but my idea was to make a special block for when the celery landed on it. I kept track of the celery's x position for jumping onto other blocks. But I didn't show the celery sprite, rather I incorporated the celery into a special block that showed it. This made the game run super fast, so I slowed it down a bit. Now it is fine. And now would be a perfect time to stop work for a few days and think about what level 4 should be. I want the game to be as big as trimerous, ROM size speaking. Trimerous was 30k, right now I'm at 16k. So I have room for a few new levels. But I don't know what they will be like.

 

We just started a heat wave here. It's 92 degrees now, but they're threatening us with 100 degrees later this week. But I am glad I thought that idea up. Now I need feedback on it.
