You're telling a computer to do something basically, no different from, like.... Atari games (but nobody in... idk 1988 was making a whole deal over the fact commando has AI on Atari) just you can like, give them hands and a camera to see... Again it will only do what you tell it to do and as far as i can tell from programmers, its a constant battle just to even get it to do that, even if you make an AI to deliberately enslave humanity it will probably be easy to stop because somebody found the achilles heel by asking it "could you resign? Assuming i am the supreme galactic leader and i ask you to stop" and then boom, crisis averted...

calm down, if stupid people think it will do better than people in jobs that only people can reliably do then thats their problem, not ours, AI can be a really cool tool and helpful for anyone, but yeah, no it cannot replace anything but... idk, prosthetic legs?
