When I was a kid, I played a whole bunch of games on my PC. Like CD-Man, a rip-off of Pac-Man. I could never get past the third level as a kid, but I downloaded it recently on my computer that died last September and I beat it. Or take Dr. Sbaitso, the virtual doctor that came with the Soundblaster card. I downloaded this too, but he doesn't talk! Anyone remember Chip's Challenge? Or howaboutz Jezzball, the kind-of Qix clone? I was 14 when the N64 came out, which is the console that I remember the best (I still play it!). I still have original copies of SM64, Mario Kart 64, etc. I sucked at Diddy Kong Racing, and my friend beat it for me (I can never thank him enough.) The same friend got me 117 stars on Super Mario 64, but I don't know where the last 3 are. What else is a lot of fun is discovering codes for Super Mario Bros. with a Game Genie. One I discovered is YEAAAA, which makes the game literally go crazy, with bgcolor changes, slowdowns, and lots of other creepy stuff. But putting in stupid childish stuff like POOPIE never seemed to make a difference, although VAGINA does something, I don't remember what, though. Looks like it's time to plug in the non-top-loading model NES and fire up the Game Genie and discover some more codes. The entry title, by the way, is the Game Genie code for infinite lives in SMB. And yes, I remember it by heart.
