It happened 1 year ago today. I got laid off.I went into work on that friday....just like I always have. 2 hours later I was escorted out with my stuff in a box. I was in shock. With the job market sucking, I would have to try to find a new job. Worse yet, I lost my health benefits 1 week before my daughters 1st birthday and several scheduled immunizations.4 months and a lot of prayers later...I was working again...In a different department of the same company that canned me.Going through tough times like that really makes you appreciate what you have.So, next week is my daughters 2nd birthday and my 2nd fathers day. It oughta be a good week......and I'll appreciate every minute of it.on an unrelated note...I saw E.T. 2600 clips on Cinnematech on G4 today.....yay
