I just finished cleaning up my bedroom and it looks so much better now. It reminds me of my old bedroom at my parents house, mainly due to the posters and other things on the wall. I want the room to be sort of a showcase of who I am and it reflects my various interests.I also set up my old 500MB Compaq Presario computer on a network along with my 2.8gig Dell. It may not be a big deal to most people, but I think it's neat to have 2 working computers on a mini-network so if I were to have my brother or someone over, they could use the Compaq to browse the internet instead of using my Dell. I'm still about $600 away from paying off the Dell. I'm going to push harder in the coming months to pay it off. Can't wait until I get home. I just want to plop on the bed and take a short nap since I have the next 2 days off. Work's going ok and it hopefully will get better. If we can hire another custodian, I might be made a leader for the other two custodians. I'm excited about such a prospect and it will make my job more interesting for me and hopefully lead to better jobs within the company. I am committed to keeping my job for as long as possible.Started Leadership Training at work yesterday and it went well. I saw a few familiar faces that I see everyday and some looked surprised to see me there. I felt that it went REALLY well yesterday and I plan to stick to this training until it ends. I'm really hoping it will lead to bigger things for me and I feel it will be a good investment of time. I will need some of the knowledge that I will gain from this training if I end up becoming the leader for the cleaners. Well I must go for now. I'll probably stay home this weekend and clean my apartment some more. I'm not going to have a whole crapload of money so I can't possibly expect to do anything fun. Blah. The weather stinks too much as well.
