Kindercomp take 2
I looked back through my entries because I thought I had attempted to make this game before. Sure enough, I tried in April. Six months later, I'm trying to make it again, and the chances are better that I might actually succeed this time. Why?
#1 - I now have the Atari 800 and Commodore 64 versions for research (This version is more similar to the Commodore 64 version.)
#2 - My programming skills have increased since then. I now know about Superchip RAM and how to take advantage of it. This now makes me able to have 32 vertical pfblocks instead of just 11, so a menu screen can display 5 options without relying on player sprites.
#3 - I already made the title screen.
For those who are interested, I started a topic about this in the homebrew forum, and right now, I have one game programmed in: Drawing. I'm going to work on this some more today and make a Basic Math clone. Here's an early binary file of the game (this can also be found on the homebrew forum).
