The least wonderful time of the year
As i've told in previous blogs around this time, I don't like this time of year. Yes, April Fools' Day is coming up. It's not that I don't have a sense of humor, but I tend to take things too seriously and get really mad as to finding out it is only an April Fools' Day joke. That, and I think it's a stupid holiday. But at least there's one good thing about it, it's my Dad's birthday. He turns 65 on April 1. So, I'll give him a call, and on the weekend after that, I think we're taking him out to eat somewheres.
And, I'm into collecting one-letter book titles now. I got "H" and "Q" at a local book store, and I want to get to Borders (before it maybe closes for good?) soon to look for more. Mom told me they may close up shop forever because sites like Amazon.com are stealing their business away, which is too bad because there's a lot of people that still don't shop online (my mom included), and when we go there, there seems to be a ton of people there and the parking lot is near full. Oh well, there's at least still a few mom & pop bookstores in Salem that I can look for books at.
