!-War (I-War spoof for the Jaguar)

Made this just for this thread here on Atariage after someone gave praise to the game I-War, which was a ok TRON-like game. I realized I had not Bubsy-ized it, so I made my spoof. Here was the thread I made this for...

The video game star formerly known as Bubsy, now called "!". :D I guess the Woolie computer server had to save the space used?

 

Anyway, for the fun on this I changed the large white flying ships to look like Woolies, changed the boxy flying ships to look like Woolie saucers, lowered the title and changed the "I" to a "!". And of course added my Bubsy-TRON icon at the helm of the tank.

 

Fun fun. Just some creative tinkering on a quiet evening.

Uhm... Tron-like? I thought I-War was Wing Commanderish?

 

I thought Wing Commander was more like flying ships in space, Space Above and Beyond and all that?

That's what I-War does on PCs. Check the link I gave :ponder:

 

Ahhh.. ok, didn't see that link there. Indepedance War or I-War. So let's see, that Wing Commander game was released in 1998, and I-War for the Jaguar... the manual for it says 1995.

 

I'm honestly a bigger Wing Commnader fan than I-War (Jaguar) fan, but just thought I'd see which came first.
