So, probably none of you read my comic, but anyway, since my grandfather died (and the lengthy conversation about how some people thought i didn't miss him when in fact i do), i've decided to kill Jessica's grandfather off. This week's comic isn't really funny since it introduces the new story line. i mean, how can you make death funny? i tried when maybe i shouldn't have. it's too late now to change it since this sunday's comic is already up. Except for 8/31 and 9/7's comics which talks about school starting (i do the comics about a month in advance in case i get stuck for gags. i have all of September done), this topic will be in the comic until the end of September. I've tried to make it all funny (after all, it *is* a comic strip), but i'm beginning to think that maybe i shouldn't have gone down this road in the comic strip story department. (most of it is dealing with how to get rid of all of his belongings, including his house. What are they going to do with two houses?) What we did is moved into Grandpa's house and leave our old trailer behind. A little update about that. We don't know if CalAm is going to demolish it, or try to resell it. That is a tough decision. Knowing how CalAm likes to spend money, are they going to spend thousands of dollars fixing it up, or spend thousands of dollars getting rid of it and getting a new one there. Decisions, decisions.
