Well, I bet everyones first reaction to this one was WTF!

Most obviously this was anything but Enduro Racer!

After the first shock, one will see that this racing themed Zaxxon mod is still featuring motorcycles at least. And, it isn't all bad. Yet nothing really good either.

What you get is a race against time over 10 stages. Actually it's only 5 really different stages, since they all get recycled for the second half of the game. Main difference is that you get only 50" instead of 60" the second time around. Inbetween races you may buy small tuning extras, which'll give you a boost for the next round.

Any second you come in earlier will be a bonus second for the next round, so there's some good motivation to go fast and stay clear of crashes. The trick is to gain many bonus seconds in the first half, to make it through the second:

Some future day the "Playing..." series may see it's sequel "Super Hang On", but first it'll deliver something else.
