Elevator Madness!
I got three games in the mail today, pushing my total to 247, three more and I have 250. Luckily for me, I had just ordered three games earlier this week, and they should come next week. Well, they came in 2 seperate packages. In one package was Wabbit and Title Match Pro Wrestling (thank you Matt!), and the other is Elevators Amiss. Since the programmers of the first two probably aren't even around to read my comments on their games, i'll talk about the last one.
The game should have been called "Elevator Madness," because it does inspire madness (in a good way.) The game is good, but frustratingly hard. One thing I've noticed is sometimes, you die by one pixel. Therefore, I think he should have made the elevators two pixels narrower, then I might have gone way farther in the game. One time, I made it to level 5, but after playing some more, I think it was a fluke. In levels >1, one of the elevators moves painfully slow. At first, I thought this was a stupid thing, but then realized it was probably done that way to make the game harder. Another thing i like is the extra burst of speed you get when holding down the fire button. It's been a while since I've played this game in emulation, and i remember it's much easier to keep the maid between elevators by pressing keys rapidly instead of moving a joystick back and forth. Well, anyway, Bob, if you're around, I really like your game. I get confused by real names and screen names and can't remember who is who sometimes. That's it for today.
