"It's time for our special journey together, Harry!" Harry wipes the sleep out of his eyes

as a glowing, smiling Pac Man hovers over his bed. "Hurry! Hurry! We mustn't waste time!"

Harry opens his arms wide and flings open his front door as the sunlight and brisk wind hits

his face and eyes. His fingertips tingle as he smiles and laughs. "I didn't think it would be

like this, Pac Man!" Harry screams with delight.

"I know Harry! C'mon, I have so much to show you!"

A camera zooms up higher and higher as the two chase each other in circles along an endless

plane of green grass and buttercups. "Can't catch me!" someone yells. Their footprints leave behind

sparkles of light as they kick up droplets of dew. "I never !" Harry yells, laughter interrupting

the rest of his sentence.

Soon they come to large wooden cabinet with a purple window in the middle. Pac Man opens the

window and inside is a pale, powdered human head.

"What a head case!" Pac Man jokes. "Let's take it."

Harry grabs the head and stashes it near his armpit, inside his thin, leathery black cape. He

runs with his head down, eyes always forward. "We have to get out of here, Harry!"

The two run and run through the ever darkening woods. Harry's red high-top shoes seem to make his legs grow longer.

"Harry, look! You're legs! They're ba--"

***RIIIINNNGGGG!!!!*****

Harry opens his eyes. 7:10 A.M. He pulls his body out of bed and fastens on his mechanical

legs. He lurches to the bathroom and closes the door. Several minutes later he emerges with a

towel around him. He dresses himself, has a spot of tea, and leaves the house.

He walks to firehouse, says hello, and straps himself to the large metal wheel they have

stationed in their lunchroom. Firemen take turns spraying water between his legs and

between his arms and head, causing the wheel to spin faster and faster. The firemen laugh

and laugh as Harry spins round and round.

It's not all fun and games, you know. 3:05 P.M. - a call comes in. 123 Cherry Blvd.

Oh no! That's Pac Man's house!
