My Latest Nintendo DS Games

I've had my DS for awhile...4 or 5 years, I think. Surprisingly, though, I don't have that many games for it. I seem to get them in spurts...I find a few here and there I want...then I go months (sometimes maybe a year or more) before I think to get anymore. This past week, I got 4 more...

1. Batman: The Brave and the Bold

2. Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story

3. Major League Baseball 2K10

4. Retro Atari

The baseball game is the only one I've played so far. I like it...though it does have one annoying glitch. I've played about 3 or 4 games already where as soon as the last out is made, the game freezes. I have to shut the unit off and the freezing makes the game nonexistant...I have to play that game over again. Still, I enjoy the game apart from that...it is one of two DS baseball games I have...I also have Baseball Advance which was a GBA title. The problem with the Advance game is no one is still on the same team now. And the other, MLB Power Pros, doesn't offer the option to play full seasons. A lot of people don't want to bother with full season playings but I do...what can I say, baseball is my favorite video game sport.

With these latest 4 DS purchases, it means I now have 29 games for the Nintendo DS (not counting about 4 GBA games I can also play on the system). This means when I get one more game I'll have 30 for the system and there will then be only one system among the 8 that I own that I won't have 30 games for...the Atari Jaguar. I think I once had over 40 games for that system...now I am pretty sure I have either 21 or 22 (I sold a number of them). I'm not positive of the exact number, though as I just went to where I thought all my Jag games were...and there's only 15 there. The others are hiding somewhere...or my cats took off with them somewhere. Well, it seems proper that if a couple cats want to play video games, they're going to want to play the Jaguar...

Yeah, I've kind of gone through a similar situation with my Jaguar, selling a few games here and there (and my brother helping himself to a few that were technically his). I think I'm over 30 now though.

Just noticed your blog post tonight and thought I'd drop in. I remember posting on your gaming forum ages and ages ago. I hope you're doing well.

Thank you. You may remember I'm not in the best of health...I've been on dialysis for about a year now...and I've had operations on both my eyes...but at this very moment I'm getting along. I recently ordered about 12-15 games and I could get a game every day this week (except for Sunday, of course) so I'll have something to write about for a bit. Once those are all in, I need to get back to playing more games and writing about them.
