Kaboom! for the Odyssey^2 ?
Sorry to make two blog posts in one day, but this is the thing I was talking about in the last one. This took at least a few days of wondering why stuff won't work, swearing, and much hitting of the computer in anger of doing. People seem to like Kaboom! for the Atari 2600 for reasons I never quite fully understood (it gets too fast after the first level for me.) I don't think I have the smarts to program this one, but I'd be happy proving myself wrong. It's the beginning. This is the primordial soup of Kaboom! for the Odyssey2, if you will. If I indeed continue this, the next step would be how to figure out how to put ONE SINGLE CHARACTER on the screen instead of a string, and not only that, make it move downwards. An Odyssey2 character is a letter. The letter I want to use in this is 031h, which is a small, filled-in circle. I figure I should keep going on programming the Odyssey2 because I don't want to forget how to. Every time I come back to work on Insecticide!, it takes a little bit of getting used to programming in C again. So, what do you think, should I continue on this? The binary file I've attached is for O2EM, not an Atari 2600 emulator.
