So, the 3DS has been out for a year now. What does it have to show for itself? Not very many "killer apps". Not very many games period. And not very many interesting ones coming. Mario Tennis, Luigi's Mansion 2, and Super Mario 2D. That's about it as far as big names go. So in order to get new games for my system, I have to go hunting for titles that sound interesting. Shifting World is one of those games. Judging from screenshots and what little info I came across, it sounds (to me, at least,) like Chip's Challenge. This game is coming out next Tuesday. Hopefully I'll be able to find this one and it won't become a "bit.trip saga" dilemma (still haven't found that one yet!) Screenshots showing a guy jumping over spikes in nothing but the black and white colors sounds very interesting. And there are keys and locks, too, which is why I made the Chip comparison. I'm looking forward to it.

One problem I am having is finding the time to complete the games I have. I am finally at the end boss in Skyward Sword (it took me a dozen tries over several week to get past the penultimate end boss, and I had to load up on fairies, so I'm thinking the end boss is probably going to take forever). Then there's Super Mario 3D Land, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem which I've all started but not finished.
