It is the season to make my jack-o-lantern themed collection grow some more. I collect pumpkin/jack-o-lantern related things because Halloween is my favorite holiday. Also, because my birthday is two days after it I get presents as well. I went to the craft store and they had some Halloween things out already. The annual Spirit Halloween store has the banner up but the store isn't open yet. This is part 2 of my collection. Part 1 is on a old big green corner bookcase that used to be my grandma's. There's five new things on another cabinet. By "new" I mean that only half of them are new. From left to right: A Halloween fruit snack box from 2011 (I think.) I bought them just for the box, although the fruit snacks were good. There's a jingle bell in the shape of a pumpkin that I got Monday along with the small pail and the PEZ dispenser (the second one in the jack-o-lantern collection). The biggest of the collection, a jack-o-lantern pillow, was a birthday gift last year. And I don't remember when we got that last one, a plastic jack-o-lantern that has a light in it. It was a while ago, though, I remember it from at least a few years back. And I'm anticipating October 1, the annual putting up of the Halloween lights. I go crazy with outdoor lights. Last time I think ours was one of the best displays in the neighborhood, but probably only because we live around mostly seniors who don't really care or can't put up Christmas lights. I want to put up Christmas lights. As you can guess fall/winter is my favorite time of year and am stoked because it's almost here!
