   On this day, May 19th, in 1988 the Basement BBS switched to BBS Express Pro! software (node x127). The Basement BBS operated until September, 1998. In early 2017, the SysOp obtained some old backup floppy disks from the BBS Express Pro! version of the Basement. These floppies were backups from 1990 through 1993. After recovering the BBS from the backup disks, the BBS re-opened on July 4, 2017 as an Intenet telnet only BBS (telnet address: basementbbs.ddns.net:9000).
