Bill Yesterday
Hi, I found this in the ABBUC website and I'm wondering if the game Werner Flaschbier was ever released for the Atari 8-bit: http://www.abbuc.de/modules.php?name=Revie...645&page=11 Waiting for comments. +CharlieChaplin
yes, the game "Werner Flaschbier" does exist. It was produced/written in Germany and sold by Verlag Raetz/Eberle, later known as Power per Post. The game uses german language of course... and it is very lame (I once had it and sold it immediately)... -Andreas Magenheimer. P.S.: I do not know where to get this game nowadays, since PPP is no more...
www.atarimania.com
I used to have it but the disk went bad... Very much like Boulder Dash but movement was pretty choppy. Would love to see it again though... -- Atari Frog http://www.atarimania.com

Flaschbier is a Boulder Dash clone with hardly any language at all and it's not that bad. Actually it's a fun game which many people liked. Bunsen
Release Date was 1989. WERNER was (and still is) a famous comic hero of Northern Germany. The game is a (crappy) Boulder Dash clone. It was written in Turbo Basic and compiled. The aim of the game is to reach the beer mug. Look with DOS at the directory to figure out the screen names. The program will ask for it. Have fun with the game. WERNER.zip
+bf2k+
Ahhh... if the prize is a beer, I might actually be able to finish that game...

PPP sold "Werner mach hin" or something like that - it was crap... (and in german language)... - Andreas.
Fröhn
the game "Werner Flaschbier" does exist. It was produced/written in Germany and sold by Verlag Raetz/Eberle This weekend I met the coder of Werner Flaschbier and he said that the game wasn't professionally published. Perhaps some PD companies sold it without the knowledge of the author.
Bunsen
I've made some new Levels for this game (and a new title screen). Original Leveldesign is bad - very difficult and frustrating. These levels are a little bit easier and so more motivating (at least for me ) Look here: http://andymanone.dyndns.org/reno/software.html Gamefile creator didn't work for me. You must type in SCREEN01.DAT, SCREEN02.DAT, ...
