MIKE5200
I don't know what you are talking about. I have no interest in doing a version of Pong though. Pong?? Jum Pong it's called I know, but you can fix it though your probably right nobodys interested in a pong game.

I'm pretty sure there is a fixed version of this around, I've played it on a real 5200 at one point. Steve
BydoEmpire
Is anybody working on a 5200 homebrew? I am reading lots of wish lists, some ideas, but I'm not aware of anybody currently working on anything for the big system. Speak up if you know something.I did start working on my game - but since I'm starting from ground zero and have many other demands on my time I don't make any predictions on a completion date. I do, however, have my main character zipping across the screen and a couple of debug routines working. It's been ages since I've touched 6502 assembly (and even then I never did much with it), so it's taking me a long time to do simple stuff. Plus I've never worked on the A8 before, so I have to learn its graphics features as I go. The game is a fantasy-themed combination of Robotron, Zelda and Berzerk... at least on paper. We'll see what it ends up *actually* being. Pretty standard classic arcade fare, but that's the kind of stuff I like, and it seemed pretty "doable" as a first project on this system. I'll post more stuff or put up a web site once it's further along, there's nothing to really show right now.
+Cafeman
Sounds good! But I'd have thought you'd be doing an R-Type clone for some reason.
