Tizoc
Hoprfully someone can help me out finding this thing. I heard about a gaming device that is two controllers that plug into a TV. The controllers have games built inside of them. The games are Nintendo games like SMB, Contra, etc. And the name of this device has '6000' in it, but I'm not totally sure. I thought maybe it was that activision one, but the guy was sure they were Nintendo games. So is there anything outhere like that? Anybody ever heard of such a thing? thanks in advance. Buyatari
There were a ton of these floaing around last summer. The good ones have 100 or so unique games in them. Any more and you will get 100 variations of the same game. These bootleg famicom clones can be in the shape of N64 controllers, DC controllers and even Playstation controllers. There are many different styles. They sometimes have a port for famicom carts and take either batteries or and AC adapter. They can be had for $10 or less and aren't a bad deal if you want to enjoy some of the old NES games cheaply. Adam
Eduardo
The best Famicom clone I've seen is the "Power Player". Portable unit minus the screen. It comes with 128 built in games, NES games. Probably over 100 are unique games and a few variants included. Many Arcade titles. It looks like a Dreamcast controller, it comes with a cart slot to accept external carts, you can plug a second controller or a lightgun. You can use it with a power adapter or 4 AA batteries. It outputs both RF or composite video signal. Also comes with a small joystick and the traditional arrow keys. 4 buttons: A, B, A turbo and B turbo. If you want quality you should look for this one. The rest of the clones feel cheap or are poorly constructed.
Tizoc
Thank for the info guys! With the info you have given me I have been able to find a few on the internet. Thanks! If anybody has a link for the $10 ones, please let me know. The cheapest I found so far is around $35. It looks like these things are pretty cool.
