shadow460
There are manual scans on the main site. I believe one of the main reasons that the main site isn't more populated with them is that they either aren't available, or they have not been uploaded just yet. In either case, I think you're clear to ask for them. Add Shootin' Gallery to the list of much needed scans, though.
+Psionic
OK, I am trying to get a complete set of US manuals to stick in my emu. I am only missing about 50 manuals and I am hopeing that someone here can help. Send a PM to bfstats and he can probably help you out with scans of some of those. I left it on the list because you were still looking for a way to scan it when last we talked. Do you have a scanner now? As for the box there is a good scan on here already http://www.atariage.com/box_page.html?SoftwareLabelID=488 but thanks anyway.

Great! As for boxes I'm not looking for much, but AtariAge might be missing some. I'm still not sure if AtariAge accepts scan submissions...I posted a scan here but received no response yet http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=114586 Looks like my emu is missing covers for.... Mission Survive Missle Control Smurfs Save the day Sorcerer Treasure Below ....the rest that are missing are either prototypes or obscure Pal games (like Home Vision)... +Random Terrain
For anyone reading this thread who may not know, if the manual pages are thin, putting a piece of black construction paper behind the page being scanned seems to make the stuff on the other side magically disappear: http://www.randomterrain.com/personal-scanning-tips.html Most manual pages seem to be kind of thick, so it's not usually necessary. Black construction paper is most helpful for things such as magazines and newspapers.

lucifershalo
on ATARIMANIA, is it possible to search for the games according to their manuals or we have to check all the ones we are looking for to see if the instructions have been scanned or not? I sent you a PM....not sure if you got it. @everyone I have decited to have a small contest to hopefuly give some of you incentive to scan some manuals. This "contest" will run for 1 month (ending Nov 10). It seems that PotatoGuy has a very tenative lead with the offer of 1 manual (It doesn't really count until it's scanned), let's see how many YOU can scan! thomasholzer
I put the X-Man instr up online (Actually I meant in my previous thread, they are 3 different instruction booklets/copies, my bad). I'm not very good at scanning, so you gotta straigten them out for yourselves. Also, the USA instr were a bad photocopy job when I received them, my game came with Dutch instr.
